Factsheet #5: Involving Children and Young People in Formal Meetings

Children and young people with special education needs (SEND) can be a valuable asset to formal meetings; they bring with them a wealth of lived experiences and new ideas.

For many, being invited to attend a formal meeting is an empowering experience which gives them a literal seat at the table alongside professionals.
