You may have noticed that we recently launched a brand new website featuring a new and improved resource hub, the latest IS case studies and up to date information about IS services.
As part of this digital transformation we've also updated our e-learning service to help improve the way we provide online training. This means that we will be closing our current e-learning platform on Friday 17th September and moving all our current users over to this brand new site.
If you have been using or are a current user of the e-learning platform at http://training.councilfordisabledchildren.org.uk/ then we will be emailing you over the next 2 weeks to provide you with details about how to access the new site.
How will this affect me?
You will only be affected if you are a current user of the e-learning platform at http://training.councilfordisabledchildren.org.uk/. We will be migrating all learners to the new e-learning platform over the next 2 weeks. This means that you will shortly receive a link to access your new e-learning account.
What do I need to do?
If you are in the middle of completing the training please make sure you complete both assessments before Friday 17th September. Once you have completed both assessments you will receive your certificate which you should download and save for future reference.
Can I return to the training programme and materials?
You can continue to access the training materials on the current site until we contact you again with a link to the new site where you'll find all the same useful fact sheets and guidance.
I've already completed the training, so do I need to do anything?
If you've already completed the training please make sure you've downloaded and saved your certificate for future use. If you no longer need access to the IS training programme then you don't need to do anything more. We will close your account for you.
If you have finished the training but want to access or refer back to the training materials, simply activate your new account using the link that we email.
We will be contacting all our learners again over the next few weeks with further information on how to download your certificates and access the new site.
In the meantime if you have any questions or concerns please contact the IS training team at IStraining@ncb.org.uk.
