Pam oversees the Mental Health and Wellbeing team at NCB. Pam is responsible for programmes that focus on wellbeing and mental health, as well as leading the Schools’ Wellbeing Partnership, one of NCB’s Specialist Members Groups, which seeks to embed good mental health approaches in schools.
Pam believes that good wellbeing and mental health is a fundamental part of children and young people’s development. Children, young people and families should be supported to understand how to stay mentally healthy. And all services that children and young people use should understand and promote the importance of good mental health and wellbeing.
Pam has worked in the voluntary sector for 17 years and has spent 13 of those at CDC. She started her voluntary sector career at the Scottish Association for Mental Health and before that she worked in research.
“The best bit about my job is building relationships and connecting others to solve problems that improve things for everyone.”
