Pooja supports the Education and Equalities team in co-ordinating the Early Years SEND Partnership programme and Special Educational Consortium. Pooja also supports in training events with parents and practitioners, preparing resources and writing policy briefings.
Pooja has a keen interest in research and summarises latest research within SEN and Disability. She also acts as a visiting lecturer for various universities in London and has published research within the field of SEND and Inclusion.
Pooja holds a Doctorate in Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Research. Before joining CDC, Pooja worked within a Local Authority coordinating Education, Health and Care Plans, as well as working at Specialist Schools for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Pooja is an advocate for inclusive and optimal education for all and is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people to have their voices heard, be involved in decision-making, and feel empowered to reach their full potential.
