Deborah is involved in project management of particular projects in the CDC Social Care Team. She also supports the delivery and management of the social care regional support offer, engaging key stakeholders and developing regional networks and helping to co-facilitate training, workshops and events.
Before joining CDC, Deborah worked as a Social Worker within Local Authority Child Protection Teams, including the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. In this role Deborah provided a wide range of advice and consultations to parents, professionals and members of the public about the services and support available for disabled children and young people, as well as the statutory actions required due to safeguarding concerns about vulnerable children. Furthermore, in her role, Deborah was often the lead professional, ensuring that a range of support professionals and services worked together to meet the needs of children, young people and their families.
Deborah holds a Master’s Degree qualifications in Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical and Forensic Science.
