Lucy looks after the member organisations and co-ordinates the communications, including the website, news bulletins and social media.
She enjoys promoting disability rights and sharing best practices with both young people and professionals working in the sector.
Despite being raised in rural Oxfordshire and her friends’ protestations, she considers herself a Londoner, having moved to the capital to complete a Masters in Human Rights. She found her home in the city’s thriving third sector, and since graduating has worked in a variety of communication roles.
Before joining CDC Lucy worked for a cycling lobbyist in Brussels, where she combined her passion for cycling, policy and continental cheeses.
