Disabled Children and Health Reform: Questions, Challenges and Opportunities

condchealth.gifThe Every Disabled Child Matters campaign and the Children's Trust, Tadworth have created a report titled 'Disabled Children and Health Reform: Questions, Challenges and Opportunities'.  It urges Government to use the opportunity of reform to create a
system that works better for disabled children, instead of perpetuating a system which leaves the families of too many disabled children and young people struggling to fill the gaps.

EDCM is seeking to influence the Government to accept a number of recommendations related to the Health and Social Care (HSC) Bill, particularly around ensuring education providers are represented within Health and Wellbeing Boards and able to implement the coordinated approach to the delivery of education, health and social care set out in the SEND Green Paper.
