Written by Depatment for Education and Department of HealthDate 09 Dec 2013

The Department for Education has issued updated advice for local authorities and health partners on the implementation of the 0 to 25 SEND reforms.

The pack sets out the vision for the special educational needs (SEN) reforms, the case for change, and provides non-statutory advice for:

  • local authorities (children’s services, social care and adult social care)
  • health partners (clinical commissioning groups, and health and wellbeing boards)

The guidance also includes 2 examples of Education, Health and Care plans, a slide pack and a timeline setting out the implementation process.
