Preparing Young People for Adulthood

This case study looks at an organisation called Decipha that has been working with a group of young people with life limiting conditions aged between 19 – 25 years to become leaders in their community.

It gives examples of supporting young people to think about their future and plan their careers or training, for independent living and housing, being in control of health care and finally developing a sustaining a network of friends and supporters and thinking about sexual relationships.
