The attention to, and demand for stronger linkages between research, policy and practice are increasing, especially in fields concerned with sensitive and challenging issues.
Also, in this era of evidence-based policy and practice, the relationship between research, policy and practice is widely acknowledged and embraced by many, if not most researchers, policymakers, front line service managers and practitioners.
The Council for Disabled Children and its host, the National Children's Bureau, support this and are continually evaluating the quality of it's programmes. CDC also understands the importance of how policy, practice and learning should be shared to inform delivery partners and others to drive improvements in all our work with children, parents and young people.
