Description of service offered:
North Yorkshire SENDIASS is an impartial and confidential service. We offer free legally based information, advice and support for parents or carers of children and young people (0-25 years old) and young adults themselves up to 25years old with SEN and/or disabilities about their education, health and social care. We can provide this by telephone or electronically as well as some face to face support. We may attend a wide range of meetings too. We will always try, but only with your agreement to support more positive relationships between parents / carers/ children/ young people and early years settings/schools/ colleges and the Local Authority and any other organisations for the best outcome for all children and young people with SEN and / or disabilities living in North Yorkshire.
