Early Years

The Early Years are a crucial time in a child's development. It is therefore as important as it is for any other child that disabled children and children with special educational needs (SEN) are supported through this time.

A woman reads to two children. These crucial years can make all the difference in the development of a child with SEND. At CDC, we want a society in which disabled children's needs are met, aspirations supported and their rights respected, and the Early Years is a key part of that.

What are we doing?

We have produced a number of policy and practice documents, and other useful resources on all features of the Early Years and you can find them below.
