Leading national programmes and convening 300+ voluntary & community organisations and an active network of practitioners brings unique insight.
More and more families in need of help... Budgets cut back year-on-year... And a caseload that makes it tough to plan an evidence-informed long-term strategy, let alone put one into practice...
We get it.
We lead a series of national programmes, including the Department for Education (DfE) funded Research and Improvement for SEND Excellence (RISE) Partnership and are part of the Reaching Excellence and Ambition for all Children (REACh) consortium, which is the DfE’s delivery partner testing the proposed changes to the SEND and Alternative Provision System, as set out in the Improvement Plan.
Our leadership in these national programmes, along with being a convener of the disabled children's sector with a membership of over 300 voluntary and community organisations and an active network of practitioners, ensures we’re always tuned in to the voices, concerns and challenges of children, young people and families as well as individuals and bodies that work with them on a daily basis.
Ultimately, we are led by the voice of children and young people. They are the experts on their lives and meaningful engagement with families and the practitioners that support them is where we always start.
From there, we will work with you every step of the way to build and shape a new strategy backed by a package of support that best suits the needs of your organisation and the people you work with.
