The Department of Health has recently published a new Guide to the Healthcare System in England, which is a supplement to previous guidance, bringing into one place a concise explanation of how the existing and new NHS organisations are working closely together to deliver improved care for patients.
The roles and responsibilities of each partner in the healthcare system are outlined in a way that is a useful companion piece to the NHS Constitution. It will be continually updated to provide clarity.
