CDC eLearning courses
The Council for Disabled Children has developed a suite of online training for CDC members, affiliated organisations and services, and parent carers. The courses have been developed to improve knowledge, understanding and practical skills and support in range of key areas that impact children and young people, particularly those who are disabled or with special educational needs.
eLearning courses include:
- Information, Advice and Support
- Introduction to Social Care
- Introduction to Mental Health
- Care Education and Treatment Reviews (CETR) and Dynamic Support Registers (DSRs)
- Holistic Outcomes in Education, Health and Care Plans
- Delivering Quality Annual Reviews
- Focus on Health Advice
- Supporting Disabled Children and Young People and those with SEN and their families: SEND Basic Awareness Training Levels 1 and 2. Please note: NHS colleagues who would like to complete this training should access it via the NHS learning hub here.
Each module takes between 30-45 minutes to complete. The training is free to complete online from any computer/tablet. You can complete it at your own pace.
