Participation practice

We work to ensure that disabled young people's right to be heard becomes a reality by promoting their active participation and ensuring their voices and success stories are heard.

We lead by example by involving children and young people in a range of ways across our teams and work programmes. This allows us to understand how our work directly affects disabled children and young people; and means that we can be responsive to their views. We develop much of our practice resources in partnership with young people, which we then use to provide expert advice and guidance to organisations and professionals on how to engage with disabled children and young people to develop sustainable and inclusive participation opportunities.
