The Children and Young People’s Health Policy Influencing Group (HPIG) represents a strong, independent voluntary and community sector voice on children and young people’s physical and mental health issues in England.
We are part of a major coalition of more than 90 organisations campaigning for improved health and social care for disabled children, young people and their families.
CDC is working closely with the National Children's Bureau to collaborate and feed into evidence gathering and evidence-based research that is informing the Independent Review of Children's Social Care.
The Health & Care Bill was introduced to Parliament on 6th July 2021 and will process through Parliament this Summer. CDC will continue to share key updates with our SEND stakeholders and we hope to draw on practice, as it emerges to develop case studies.
