This report was developed by the Making Ourselves Heard particiaption team at CDC with the view of creating a guide to the draft SEND Code of Practice that was accessible to young people.
In the making of this document they spoke to nearly 200 children and young people from across England and the resulting report looks at:

- Taking control at 16
- Knowing what support is available where you live
- Challenging decisions
- What happens next?
This report shares young people’s views on the draft Code of Practice and is not an explanation of the Code of Practice.
