Nabiah is a Speech and Language Therapist, Head of Therapies for CYP in Homerton, who started her career back in 2006. She worked in various roles as a Paediatric clinician before taking on clinical management roles and then an academic role as a Teaching Fellow at University College London.
Nabiah is passionate about outcomes and proving the impact and value of services. She was awarded the Sternberg Award for Clinical Innovation from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists for an outcomes tool (Profiling Outcomes Across Time – POAT) she produced with Dr Victoria Joffe (Dean, School of Health & Social Care, Essex University). Nabiah is currently the Head of Therapies for CYP at Homerton Healthcare Foundation Trust leading AHP and non AHP acute and community services.
Outside of work, Nabiah is studying for an MBA and volunteers for an International Charity, providing speech and language therapy support to children in less developed countries.
