We are a voluntary group of Birmingham Parent Carers whose purpose is to become the bridge between services and families and a collective voice representing all members and all disabilities.
We aim to build strong and sustainable links between our Local authority, Joint Clinical Commissioning Group and The Children’s Trust.
Birmingham is a place where every disabled child and adult and those with SEN is heard and valued, where services are timely and accessible, and where parents and carers work together with professionals to provide positive opportunities for all.
We aim to build strong and sustainable links between our Local authority, Joint Clinical Commissioning Group and The Children’s Trust. This will be achieved by:
- Improving outcomes for disabled children and those with SEN by embedding co-production in all services
- Being transparent, clear, approachable, accessible and accountable to our members
- Providing 2-way feedback between parent/carers and services
