ELHAP is one of only eight specialist adventure playgrounds for disabled children in the whole of the UK. Set in a 5 1/2 acre woodland site, ELHAP is the biggest specialist adventure playground in the country
Since 1976, we have been facilitating adventure and nature play opportunities for children and young people with disabilities and complex care needs, whilst providing vital respite for their families and carers.
We provide adventure play opportunities to disabled children and young people. We deliver a range of services to the local community including holiday playschemes, Stay and Play sessions, visiting school sessions, the Bridge Project (for children and young people who don't have a school place), Project Bloom for young people aged 16+ and the Orchard Project for young disabled adults.
