The RNIB are a charity and membership body of and for blind people and those with sight problems.
Living with sight loss can be challenging. But we believe everyone affected by sight loss should be able to face the future with confidence.
They make daily life better for people affected by sight loss, by being there when you need them.
The RNIB raise awareness of sight problems, and how to prevent sight loss, and they campaign for better services and a more inclusive society.
The RNIB want to ensure that children with vision impairment get the best possible start in life and go on to achieve their full potential.
The RNIB has a wide range of services for blind and partially sighted children and young people, their families and the professionals who work with them. This includes children and young people with additional disabilities and complex needs.
Their work includes:
- campaigning on a range of issues from preventing sight loss through to better transport services for blind and partially sighted people
- supporting others through a range of products and services
- offering training, education and learning
- employment and education services
- promoting accessible services
