Springboard

Springboard creates inclusive social opportunities for disabled children and young people. The Springboard Project welcomes children and young people with or without disabilities and their families for inclusive play and social opportunities.

The Springboard Project provide 'short break' activities and opportunities to over 350 disabled children and young people in Crawley Borough, Horsham District, Worthing Borough and London Borough of Sutton with the support of over 100 young volunteers recruited from local schools and colleges.

They also have our two "Springboard House" play and recreation centres based in Horsham and Crawley. Their activities programmes run throughout the year including school holidays and weekends. They can take referrals from professionals or families.

The Springboard Project is a community based charity that provides inclusive play and leisure opportunities for families with disabled young children and fun short breaks for disabled children and teenagers.

Springboard Houses are open as drop-in centres for any family to bring their children and enjoy their play facilities during the week. The centres are accessible with ceiling hoists and changing facilities and lifts.
