STARS offers bereavement support to children and young people 0-25 years who have experienced the death of an important person in their lives and those who know that someone important to them is going to die. 

What do they do?

Aims for this service are to co-ordinate and provide a bereavement service for children, young people & their families who have experienced the death of a significant person, pre bereavement support is also offered.

The Service caters for all children & young people, aged 0 – 25 years resident within Cambridgeshire. Support will be provided in an environment that is comfortable for the child / young person for example at school, college, GP surgery etc.

What do they offer?

  • Direct work with the child / young person

  • Advice, information, resource sharing and guidance to carers, parents or professionals

  • Signposting to appropriate agencies / services

  • The service can support children and young people living in the Cambridgeshire
