Sunfield offers residential placements and day places, as well as an assessment and outreach service.
Sunfield's specialised provision uses personalised, innovative and responsive approaches in care, education, psychology, therapies, health and family services.
Sunfield has 58 acres of parkland with nature trails, play areas and a farm with animals and pets. Within these grounds, they provide integrated learning and living for children and young people with complex learning needs such as autism. They have well-equipped classrooms, 10 residential houses with personalised bedrooms and 24/7 care teams, as well as self-contained accommodation for visiting families.
Sunfield's therapy facilities include a soft play and light therapy room, a sensory integration suite, a sensory room, and specialist equipment to support our on-site multi-disciplinary psychology and therapy specialists in occupational therapy, behaviour management, speech and language therapy, psychology, psychotherapy, play therapy and music therapy.
The teams at Sunfield work together, with young people, their families, and other supporting professionals, to make a meaningful difference - often where children have been unable to thrive elsewhere. They create an environment in which they feel secure; where they feel their needs are met, their feelings can be safely expressed and their communication is understood.
