Together SEND is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) and CPD-accredited provider committed to empowering families, schools and children with SEND. As a Disabled Peoples' Organisation, we are dedicated to ensuring that every child with SEND is fully understood, supported and celebrated within inclusive educational environments, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.
Our mission includes ensuring that financial circumstances never hinder access to vital advocacy, training or guidance through our Subsidised and Free Support Programme.
At Together SEND, we carry out a variety of activities designed to support the development of policy and practice relating to disabled children and young people, and those with SEN.
As a relatively new company, we are working to establish ourselves and begin participating in consultations and policy-related working groups. We aim to contribute to shaping better practices and ensuring that the voices of children and young people with SEND are included in decision-making.
In the meantime, we provide expert consultancy, training and advocacy services to schools, families and professionals, ensuring that inclusive environments are created and that children with SEND are supported with the necessary adjustments. Our Subsidised and Free Support Programme helps break down financial barriers for families, offering vital guidance and advocacy. Additionally, our CPD-accredited training equips professionals with the tools needed to implement best practices for SEND.
