One of the themes identified in the survey was ‘Data, Voice and Commissioning’. This training is designed for professionals working in the SEND system who would like to increase their knowledge of the importance of children, young people and families playing an active part in the commissioning cycle, and how their input should inform strategic decisions.
Objectives
- Increase understanding of the relationship between strategic outcomes, commissioning and voice.
- Increase understanding of tools and approaches for capturing and interpreting lived experience as data.
- Learn from good practice examples.
- Reflect on and share local strengths, challenges and opportunities with colleagues from other local areas.
- Exploring common barriers regarding commissioning in response to lived experience data.
