Almost half (48%) respondents of the workforce survey highlighted Health SEND duties as an area of need. These sessions will support attendees to understand more about: Health roles and remits; what Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are and mean for children and young people with SEND; governance arrangements (inc. Provider collaborative understanding/place-based partnerships); accountability and inspection/ombudsman roles; funding and commissioning arrangements etc. It will also cover the NHS 10-year plan and its implications for children and young people, including a focus on how Neighbourhood Health Services provide an opportunity for SEND.
