As part of the Delivering Better Outcomes Together (DBOT) consortium, funded by the Department for Education (DfE), the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) has been working across the regions delivering Action Learning Sets and Accelerated Working Groups focused on Social Care and SEND.
In this virtual Social Care and SEND National Learning Event we will share examples of emerging practice with a focus on the outputs of the recent CDC Accelerated Workings groups.
The agenda for this session:
10am - 12.30pm – National learning event to share outputs from CDC’s AWG including:
- Needs-led eligibility decision-making framework;
- The Local Offer, Short Breaks, and EHC plans;
- Hear learning from LA’s that were involved in the development and are now implementing the approaches.
12.30pm – 1.30pm – Lunch
1.30pm – 3.30pm – 9 separate facilitated Regional Action learning Set sessions to build on and develop local area and regional action plans based on the learning shared in the morning’s session.
