The Communication Trust

The purpose of The Communication Trust is to highlight the importance of speech, language and communication across the children's workforce and to enable practitioners to access the best training and expertise to support the communication needs of all children.

There are over 50 voluntary and community groups who contribute to the work of the Trust. In addition the Trust is consulting with a number of representatives of the children's workforce, who form the Advisory Panel.

Working together they support everyone who works with children and young people in England to support their speech, language and communication.

Their work focuses on supporting children and young people who struggle to communicate because they have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) as well as supporting all children and young people to communicate to the best of their ability.
