Genetic Alliance works to improve the lives of patients and families affected by genetic conditions.
Our aim is to ensure that high quality services, information and support are provided to all. We actively support research and innovation across the field of genetic medicine.
Mission Statement: The Genetic Alliance aim to improve the lives of people affected by genetic conditions by ensuring that high quality services and information are available to all who need them.
Supporting: The Genetic Alliance seek to raise awareness of genetic conditions and improve the quality of services and information available to patients and families.
Campaigning: The Genetic Alliance actively campaign on issues of policy and practice to influence governments, policy makers, industry and care providers such as the National Health Service.
Uniting: The Genetic Alliance provide a united voice for all those affected by genetic conditions, enabling them to work together towards a common goal of making life better for patients and families at risk.
Genetic Alliance UK now represents over 150 voluntary patient organisations and has representation on numerous bodies in the UK, Europe and the rest of the World.
Genetic Alliance is specifically represented on the CDC Council by the SWAN UK project.
