Richard House Children's Hospice provides care and support to children and young people at risk of death.

Richard House Children's Hospice deliver clinical care, short breaks and other residential services to children and young adults, while supporting their families through counselling, therapy, bereavement support and more. With a focus on living for today and creating positive memories for tomorrow, they also offer a range of activities for all the family to enjoy.

Richard House Children's Hospice's  purpose-built hospice is in Beckton, East London and they accept referrals from families across the capital with the majority living in Newham, City and Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Barking and Dagenham and Waltham Forest. When they opened in 2000,they were the first children’s hospice in London and cared for just a handful of children and young people. Today, they have over 300 on our books.

The services are free of charge to the families they support and the majority of their funding is thanks to the generosity of the public. In addition to this they receive approximately 30 percent of their income through statutory funding.
