Sign Hi Say Hi!

Sign Hi Say Hi! aim to improve the lives of deaf children and their families.

Sign Hi, Say Hi is a group of parents and those working with deaf children who want a better deal for deaf children and their families, coming together to share information and meet others in the same position because by coming together we are able to give support and swap ideas.

The club is an opportunity for deaf children/young people to meet, take part in activities such as sport, craft, workshops and simply be together. It is also for parents/carers to have a coffee & socialise with other families. Many children or young people find they are the only deaf child or young person in their school and at Sign Hi Say Hi they are with other young deaf people and deaf adults too.

British Sign Language classes for families are also available with tutors provided through Blackpool Council Family Learning.

Sign Hi Say Hi! are deaf and hearing parents from Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre who offer informal support /information and work with Blackpool and Lancashire Authorities to improve services for deaf children/young people. They are looking for people who would like to help with activities on a regular basis as PIP volunteers.
