VIEW is the professional membership association of QTVIs (Qualified Teachers of children and young people with vision impairment) and all professionals supporting children and young people with vision impairment, including LSAs, mobility and habituation specialists, and trainee QTVIs.
VIEW provides members with support and a range of resources, and brings them together through career development activities, professional networks, and an annual national conference. Representation is made to the Government on issues regarding the education of children with vision impairment. The association also acts as a partner for relevant teacher training courses. The VIEW Committee is comprised of professionals with particular expertise within the field of vision impairment and education provision. These individuals provide leadership in moving VIEW forward to constantly improve benefits and services to our members. VIEW works to safeguard standards of provision, and raise the profile of the field.
