Speech, language and communication needs

FREE online training offer from I CAN – Core and in-depth training

Core training: I CAN has developed two free webcasts for early years practitioners, SENCos and managers to find out about how to support SLCN in early years settings.  The webcasts can be viewed at any time, at home or in the setting. They make excellent material for a staff meeting. The webcasts can be followed up with a free live webinar that participants can book to help them implement their learning. See below to book.

In- depth training: This is available to anyone who has been involved in the above core training or has had some previous SLCN training.  The in-depth training (also free) consists of a course of two webinars, held two weeks apart, and has been designed and produced by a specialist speech and language therapist. The course looks in detail at ensuring that the support offered in early years settings is quality, with positive impacts for children with SLCN.

Please share this information and make sure that the opportunities for free training are not lost!
