This explanation of Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP) and other developments in the children's health system from the Child Health Alliance seeks to introduce the current transformation plans and explain some of the acronyms and jargon behind them.
The Alliance is made up stakeholders and system leaders from across the children’s health system, including government departments, NHS England, Royal Colleges and professional bodies, as well as the voluntary sector and academic institutions. It is convened by NCB and CDC and chaired by CDC Director, Dame Christine Lenehan.
