Back to School

The National Autistic Society produced a back to school guide for parents preparing children for the return to school.

Headstart
- Headstart Hull have worked with Barnardo’s to co-produce resources with young people and schools focusing on transition from primary to secondary school. Read here.
- HeadStart Cornwall and the Educational Psychology Service have been working on school recovery support and here are some prompts to consider 6 ‘areas for reflection’ organised using the Swan Framework - Safe, Welcoming, Altogether, Nurturing – suggested by Dr Pooky Knightsmith.
- HeadStart Blackpool’s Resilience Revolution has co-produced a set of recommendations with young people and their families for schools to consider in their planning around pupil return to school.
The Schools Wellbeing Partnership
- The Schools' Wellbeing Partnership in consultation with the Department for Education, have developed a toolkit to help primary schools and secondary schools to work through the key considerations to support mental health and wellbeing as all pupils begin to return to school full time.
