Sarah is a Speech and Language Therapist who has 24 years’ experience working across NHS, education and the private sector. She is Head of Service at Words First Ltd, an independent practise providing multidisciplinary services to schools. These services include Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Educational Psychology, play and counselling therapy.
Sarah’s previous experience and her role at Words First I have enabled her to build connections with a wide range of schools, local authorities and NHS services. She feels passionately about improving and developing models of service delivery to support children with SEND and their families. She believes the key to this, is collaboration between AHPs across all sectors. She plans to work with the steering group and the network to ensure it engages with people from across the country and across all sections of society, in doing this ensuring that its members are able to develop services that will effectively support their communities.
