CDC National Virtual Event Recordings – March 2022
On the 1st March 2022, CDC ran a national virtual event for SEND Leads, DCO/DMOs and Commissioners from across the country. The aim of the event was to update the sector, share knowledge and best practice and learn from each other. The main plenary session consisted of:
- An update from Department for Education Officials on DfE priorities and support going forward and reforms to Alternative Provision (Fiona Nzegwu, Suzy Powell, Charles Lang and Alasdaire Duerden)
- An update on the transition to Integrated Care Boards (Lorraine Mulroney, National Specialist Advisor – SEND, NHSE/I)
- An example of good practice- Lancashire and South Cumbria, SEND in the Integrated Care Board (Zoe Richards, Senior Manager SEND, Morecambe Bay CCG)
- Keyworking update (Kate Sutton, Keyworking Lead, LD&A programme and Phil Brayshaw, Acting Head of CYP, NHSE/I)
