With Conductive Education at our core, we offer Early Intervention and other services to help children grow in confidence and skills so that they can achieve their potential and live as independently as possible now and in the future.

Who we work with

We work with babies, children and young people aged up to 18 who have movement difficulties due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, global development delay or acquired brain injury. We can also help children and adults with other conditions or disabilities.

Services for children

We offer a range of Early Intervention and Sessional Services to meet the needs of children with different abilities.  By addressing needs as early as possible we can help your child gain the vital skills they need as they grow older.

We use the principles of Conductive Education as part of a holistic approach including speech and language therapy and music therapy to help each child:

  • develop their mobility, movement, sensory, communication, emotional, problem-solving and self-help skills
  • take an active part in the learning process.

Above all, we create a warm, supportive, fun learning environment and celebrate each child’s achievements.

Mollii suit assessments

We also offer free Mollii assessments for children and adults. The Mollii suit is an innovative assistive device that helps relieve spasticity and improve muscle control for people with neurological conditions.

Woodstar School

We run our own Department for Education-approved independent primary school and nursery class for children with movement difficulties due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or global development delay. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (February 2017).

Support for parents

We provide support and information for parents and carers and offer a friendly, positive place where you can share ideas and concerns. We also produce our own videos with expert advice on topics such as clinical negligence claims and Education, Health and Care Plan appeals.

We strongly encourage parents and carers to come and take part in the sessions with their children. In this way, you can understand how your child learns and gain the skills and confidence to continue the learning at home.

We are based in Muswell Hill, North London.
